About the Dementia Learning Centre

Learning that creates meaningful change

The Dementia Learning Centre Te Pūtahi Akoranga mō Te Mate Wareware is Alzheimers New Zealand’s hub of excellence for dementia education. Our kaupapa is centred on people and the fundamental right we all have to feel supported, valued and loved.

We provide accessible, engaging learning for people living with dementia, care partners, communities, health professionals and organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand. Through education, we aim to strengthen dementia knowledge, improve the quality of care and support, encourage continuous learning and help reduce the stigma surrounding dementia mate wareware.
